Emergency Response & Accountability App for Schools

Know the alert.
Take action.
Stay safe.

One tap sends the alert to every phone on campus. Every classroom reports its status back. Leadership watches the school resolve room by room — and the drill report writes itself.

Installs from a link — no app store, no device management.
Each school's data is kept separate and private, under its own branding.

How it works

Send the alert. Every room answers.

Leadership sends the alert from their phone. It arrives on every staff device with the instruction attached, so nobody has to remember the protocol under pressure.

One tap from wherever they are.

The alert wakes the phone. Staff pick their location and report with a single button — no paper, no runners, no radios.

  • Mark the group safe, flag a student missing, or call for help
  • Talk to the team in one live chat, cleared when the drill is reset
  • Sign in with the school account — no staff list to maintain

Why ERA

A drill is not a test of the alarm. It is a test of whether anyone can say, with certainty, that every child is where they should be.

What makes ERA different

It knows who is actually supposed to be there.

Daily attendance is built into the core loop, so ERA knows who is absent before the drill starts. Accountability isn't estimated; it is accurate to the morning.

  1. 01

    Starts from today's attendance

Absent students are never counted as missing, so every drill starts from the real picture.

  2. 02

    It closes the loop

Alert, response, floor sweeps and the final report — one system, one record. Not just a broadcast.

  3. 03

    Automatic safe-status

When a homeroom reports safe and none of its students are elsewhere, the roster resolves itself. Fewer false "missing" alarms.

  4. 04

Your school's app, marked for emergencies

Staff install an app with your school's logo and name. ERA adds a red siren to the icon, so in a crisis everyone knows which app to open.

  5. 05

    Multilingual

English, French, Spanish and Turkish built in. Each staff member picks their own language.

  6. 06

    Installs from a link

No app store, no device management. Staff open a link and add it to their home screen. Updates arrive automatically.

  7. 07

Chat that cleans up after itself

One thread for staff and leadership during an alert, deleted when the drill is reset.

Questions

Deployment & integration

Do we need Mobile Device Management (MDM) to deploy ERA?
No. ERA is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Staff open a secure link and tap "Add to Home Screen". No MDM profiles, no App Store approvals, no IT tickets per device. Updates arrive automatically the next time the app is opened.
How does ERA integrate with our Student Information System?
Through a simple spreadsheet import. Export your rosters, rooms and students from your SIS (such as ManageBac, PowerSchool or iSAMS) and import them into your school's private ERA space. No complex API connections that could compromise security.
Do staff need to create new accounts and passwords?
No. Staff sign in with your school's existing Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account (@yourschool.edu). If someone leaves and their school account is deactivated, their access to ERA ends automatically.
Does the system work if the Wi-Fi goes down?
The app itself opens from the device instantly, even on a poor connection. Reporting a status and viewing the live board need a working connection — Wi-Fi or mobile data — because accountability is calculated across the whole campus.
